In my work I find myself often needing a Markdown formatted link, containing both URL and page title. Most often, this happens when working on references for studies or commentary on medical debates, where links to pubmed and similar are expected to be done AMA Style. This very simple Alfred 3 Workflow automates this.

Simply navigate to the page in question, make sure it’s the top most tab on Chrome, activate Alfred, and type lmd. Paste as needed into your Markdown Editor of choice.

(Note: in Ulysses you’ll need to -Shift-V and select “5 – from Markdown” or it’ll do weird things. MWeb doesn’t do this, simply paste.)

Ulysses, now that it’s subscription, should really enable the “snag Link Title” feature they’ve been promising for years, but hey… until then, this will do.
