If there’s one thing I hate, it’s presentations. I don’t think they add much to talks and, often, distract from the message and content of the exercise. But, hey, we all have to conform to the idiotic euphoria of 1990s “technologization” of scientific talks.
Microsoft’s PowerPoint can not deal with font subfamilies and the iPad has no easy, built in, way to add more fonts to its repertoire. Which is utter shit if you (like me) depend on institute or company branding. Luckily, there are some third party apps, like AnyFont, to circumvent one more of Apple’s “Daddy Jobs knows best” mentality.
