ultreia.me (@ultreia@mikka.is) just leveled up. We've been syncing fountain potability updates to @openstreetmap@en.osm.town for a few months, now, so that pilgrims can find potable water faster (not all fountains are potable all year round).

We do this by crowd sourcing survey with the app, and then do a curated push to OSM, to avoid vandalism, spam, and false changes.

Now we've added albergues (hostels on the Caminos) and, very importantly, the diet: field, which outlines vegan and vegetarian albergues.

Our "competitors" are already dancing in joy, free data and all, but thing is: if we catch them, they have to contribute all their stuff back as well. And no court is harsher than the court of pilgrim opinion, we we can shame them into it.
